My Malaysian Affair Around the Malayan Peninsula and Hong Kong in 80 days On Wednesday 19 November 1997, I visited Singapore, Malaysia and my birthplace Hong Kong, in my first chance as a Muslim revert to have a look at a predominantly Muslim country in Malaysia. I had wanted to see a Muslim country ever since I reverted to Islam, and this was an opportunity I had looked forward to for most of the year. The trip did not disappoint, and what follows is a personal account of my experiences, as a new Muslim taking a look at Islam "in action" in Singapore and Malaysia. Great news! I have now added photos to complement this travel log, and hope they will add to your experience. I took these photos on my trip, but have only recently scanned them in (23/1/2000).
